Case Studies

Mr Richard Wilkes - Brydges Gate Development
Case1 My family moved into our new bungalow having the peace of mind that the bungalow accommodateds my needs. Being a wheelchair user, I wanted some alterations made to our home. Pickstockhomes leveled off all access areas, including the conservatory doors, allowing me to enjoy my garden with my children. The main corridor in our bungalow was widened, with the door to the master bedroom being installed at an angle for easy access. Instead of having a walk-in-wardrobe in the master bedroom, a level access shower was installed for easy use. Brilliant!
Mrs Pam Gittins, Spoonley Farm Development.
Case2 I moved into my new bungalow, knowing that various alterations had been made to accommodate my needs. Being a keen gardener, I wanted to be able to care for my garden in the simplest possible way. Pickstockhomes even fitted an outside tap to enable me to water my garden using a hosepipe, instead of a heavy watering can. I am pleased at the efficiency of the alterations that were made inside my home. Lever taps were fitted for easy use. A shower was also fitted instead of a bath. I needed easy access to my freezer; therefore Pickstockhomes made alterations to my kitchen to accommodate the fridge-freezer.
Mr and Mrs Gambroudes - Mansion Gardens Development.
Case3 We are extremely impressed with the efficient service that Pickstockhomes provided when the house was being built and also the after sales service that we received. We felt that nothing was too much trouble. Pickstockhomes were more than happy to convert half of the double garage into a room to provide the our family with more living space. We wanted a chimney, which Pickstockhomes were more than happy to incorporate into the design. Also, instead of having a utility room, the space was used to make the kitchen larger. The services provided mean that my family can enjoy our home to its full potential.
